# How to Publish and Unpublish a Site through the Site Editor?

#### 🌍 How to Publish and Unpublish a Site

**Publishing your site** makes it live and accessible to the public. **Unpublishing** it removes it from public view but keeps your content safe for later editing or relaunch.

**✅ How to Publish Your Site**

1. **Log in to the Site Editor**.
2. On the **left-hand menu**, click on **Sites**.
3. Find the site you want to publish.
4. Hover over the site and click **Manage Site**.
5. Click the **Publish** button.
6. You’ll see a confirmation that your site is now live.

> 🔗 Once published, your site will be available at your custom domain or the temporary `.sitekick.ai` subdomain.

**🚫 How to Unpublish Your Site**

1. Go to your **Site Editor**.
2. Click on **Sites** from the menu.
3. Locate the site you want to unpublish and click **Manage Site**.
4. Select the **Settings** tab.
5. Scroll down to **Visibility** or **Status** settings.
6. Toggle the setting to **Private**, **Unpublished**, or **Maintenance Mode** (depending on your setup).
7. Save changes.

> ⚠️ Your visitors will no longer see the website. It will show as unavailable until you publish it again.
